The P.I. 100 Tours 7: Taal, Batangas

* a view of the Church of Taal [1]

* an old house found in Taal [1]

* Batangas blades! [1]

The trip to Taal was probably a side-trip but which we nevertheless enjoyed. I have in my files a few shots of the church minus the details about it. I plan to visit it sometime in the future and hopefully share here the story of the church, the place, and the revered Virgin kept in the church.

We later visited a store selling different kinds of blades, most infamous of which is the balisong. It’s a ‘foldable’ knife, portable and easy to handle. As they were a little costly, I contented myself to buying a balisong keychain (which I have unfortunately lost a few years back).

Afterthoughts: Again, I say that P.I. 100 will always be a very interesting subject I have taken in U.P. and it’s one of the experiences I have fondest memories of. Despite learning that some of the finest, and I mean finest, instructors from the Department of Social Sciences have left their teaching positions, I know that the character, the texture of P.I. 100 of UPLB will always be there.
